We have all these wonderful parks that we continually hear about on a regular basis yet according to the City Managers Report:
Middletown Employee Picnic Hopefully the Mayor and Council Members will be able to attend the employee picnic this Saturday at Armco Park. If you need more details please contact Betsy or me. Why not a City Park? |

Not sure- just guessing- fishing lake/golf course, cooking facilities, better shelters? Does seem ironic that the city is always touting the parks in town and then head to greener pastures when it's crunch time. Good observation on your part.

Doesn't Armco Park now belong to Warren County? That is a double slap in Middletown's face if the picnic is there. What is wrong with Smith Park? |

Dirty shelters, no golf course, smaller fishin' hole. Looks like a wash out for the picnic anyway. Wonder what this will cost the taxpayers of the city for food, prizes? If they play golf at Armco Park, are the fees paid by the city taxpayer? Will it be hamburgers and hot dogs on those grills or Porterhouses, T-Bones, Filet Mignons and lobster? If so, save those lobster tails for Lawrence and the Council folks. They deserve only the finest! I trust they have included a final salute to our fine Economic Devel. DYErector! He deserves only the best!
