Gee, I didn't know that!

File this one under the "gee, I didn't know that" file--- Earlier today, (before 6AM), with little traffic on the roads, I saw a police officer do a little trick with the traffic light at one of our intersections. To get the traffic light to trip to green from red, he shined his spotter light on the camera up next to the traffic light to initiate the green. Neat little trick, but don't rush out to buy a spotter light for your car. Probably not a good idea from a safety aspect.
