Dr. Price will go through second-round interviews in Newark* on Thursday, Newark officials said..
*an urban district of 6,500 students located 35 miles northeast of Columbus - "Both finalists come from school districts where they have been successful and are well-regarded,'' said Molly Ingold, president of the Newark Board of Education I don't think Molly did much research on Dr. Price. |

We lived in Newark from 1979 to 1984. Newark is the twin sister to Middletown as it is a blue collar town with similar demographics. No nonsense, straight shooting, tell it like it is people who will be just as hostile toward the good doctor as the people were to him here in Middletown. If he does get the job, knowing the Newark people and their thinking, I look for Dr. Stevie to have the same experience there that he had here, especially when the school performance starts tanking and he concentrates on that diversity program of his while ignoring the angry taxpayers, wanting to build new schools and continually asking for levy approvals.
