Chief Building Official Larry Tuttle says that the City is experiencing scams due to the 2300 home improvement letters they sent out. In part the Press Release Said:
"The completion of the work is the responsibilty of the property owner. However businesses and contractors may attempt to contact residents to solicit repair and rehabilitation work. These businesses and/or contractors are not representatives of the City of Middletown and they have not been contracted to inspect or provide services for any residential property.
