Hey look! We've won every year since 2006!! I wonder what happened in 04 that caused us to lose the title? :-/ Very discouraging.

Just shows how concerned and involved parents are. Not the schools job to go little Suzy and Joey out of bed! Oh many section 8 vouchers to we hace? 1655? I rest my case.

Smartman, I completely agree with you! This only further shows the direct correlation between section 8 and lazy worthless parents. There is no excuse.
Now, and I'm not defending the majority of parents, but I personally know some parents who have gone above and beyond the call of parenthood and the child simply will not go to school. My aunt raised her step son, and she literally COULD DO NOTHING to help him succeed. She would sit down with him every night and help him with all of his homework, then he would throw it away once in was in school with the mindset "no one is going to tell me what to do." Then, he'd leave school after homeroom (assuming he made it that far), and wouldn't return home until that evening. There was just simply nothing she could do. |

Life's a game. Play it well, there are no mulligans.
