-204,390 population est. for 2007 (4,813 people/yr or 13 new residents/day) -75% growth rate since 1990 census;28.5% growth rate since 2000 census -Ranked 98th fastest growing county in nation & 2nd fastest growing in Ohio - 35-40% of our residents have lived here 5 years or less (new market) - $63,870 Median household income compared to State's $43,400 - 3rd Highest per capital income in State (933,524) - 2nd lowest poverty rate in state (5.1%) State is 10.9% avg. - 1,641 new jobs reported by County Econ. Dev. w/$133.4M new investment by those companies - Over 6,000 Business call Warren County "Home" - Tourism is leading industry with a near $700M economic impact & growing - There are 3.2M people within a 45 minute radius & 2.3M within 20 mile radius - 3,507 job placements by Warren County One Stop in past 2 years(2,189 in 2006 & 1,318 in 2007) - In a recent study of Warren County's top 250 companies, 77% reported an increase in sales, 65% introduced new products and 58% expect an increase in employment needs. - $59.4M General Fund (6% increase) - $960K for public safety employees - Water: $4M improvement/expansion to North well fields - Sewer: Est. $24M expansion of Lower Little Miami Sewer Plant - Roads: Spent over $7M on roadway improvementsin 2007 & anticipate $12M in 2008. - We're still leaving about $6M in real estate taxes uncollected & in your pocket/year - We don't have a Park Levy or Children Services Levy because we're doing it with existing taxes. - Building Permits have dropped by 21.6% but 828 single family, 108 Multi-family and 114 Commercial permits were issued in 2007 for all Townships and Villages.
