Next month Warren County Commissioners Pat South and Dave Young will join administrator Dave Gully in presenting the "State of the County 2008" speech. They will be speaking at the Area Progress Council luncheon at the Manor House in Mason, Ohio.

Biography of Commissioner Pat Arnold South
Pat South was first elected Warren County Commissioner in November of 1992, taking office January 3, 1993 and is the first woman ever elected to the commission in Warren County.
She has served as President and Vice President of the Board several times. Mrs. South was raised in Clearcreek Township, graduated in 1972 from Lebanon High School and attended Ohio State University, Sinclair College and Miami University, majoring in Psychology and Business Administration.
Biography of Commissioner David G. Young
Dave was elected to the Board of County Commissioners in 2004 with his term beginning in January 2005. He was elected President of the Board in January 2007.
Professionally, Dave is President of MBA Financial Group. MBA is a financial services firm that helps manage the investment and retirement accounts of more than 1,000 Ohioans. In 2002, Dave served as a consultant to the United States Senate regarding pension reform legislation.
Dave has been active in the Republican Party for many years and serves on the Warren County's GOP Board. Dave has also supported many pro-family organizations and causes for more than a decade and is a past member of the American Cancer Society's Board of Directors.
