Think Global! Act Regional! Is the theme for the third annual Regional Leadership Day that will take place Thursday, April 17 at Roberts Centre. Sponsored by the community leadership programs of Clinton, Warren and Clermont counties, the nine-hour symposium coupled with the Wilmington Clinton County Chamber luncheon is open to the general public.
Purpose of the interactive day is to engage Southwest Ohios community leaders and citizens in possibility thinking: to identify workforce challenges, to interact with the leaders involved in these issues, to identify potential solutions and to create action plans for regional projects and initiatives in education, economic development, marketing, business and employee retention and regional impact.
Keynote speakers include Sean Creighton, Director of the Southwest Ohio Council for Higher Education at 8:15 a.m., John Cameron, Executive Vice President of DHL Express for U.S. Operations at 12:30 p.m. and a possible address in the afternoon by Lt. Governor Lee Fisher. Facilitating the day will be Lisa Nack, President of Lisa Nack International.
Cost of the all-day symposium including continental breakfast and the chamber luncheon is $50.00. Doors open at 7:30 a.m. and the day ends at 4:30 p.m. To reserve a space, download a reservation form at www.cclead.org or www.OhioInfo.org.
