This year's Broad Street Bash season here in Middletown gets started tonight at 5:30 PM. Originally scheduled to begin in May, this Broad Street Bash season has been pushed back due to the weather, but organizers are hoping that the weather holds out for the event. As attendees are no doubt aware, each Broad Street Bash includes food, beverages, various types of vendors, live music and an area for kids which costs attendees nothing to enjoy. Tonight's entertainment will be delivered by local musical acts the Exploding Toads and the Cleavers. So join us tonight at Governor's Square Park for a great time with the community.
The entire 2011 Broad Street Bash schedule is as follows, so mark your calendars:
June 15: Off The Hook;
June 29: The Menus;
July 13: Stagger Lee;
July 27: Mr. Speed (A KISS Tribute) and 3 Feet Deep;
Aug. 10: After Midnight;
Aug. 24: Swamp Bees, plus Gregg Clark & Darrell Sallee.
