The Broad St. Bash
has really taken off with some estimates of around a thousand people who came
out to listen to the Menus and eat and drink with friends Wednesday night.  A
Taste of Middletown was featured with lasagna from Stephanos, salad, juice and
bread from Krogers, salad dressing from Flour & Flower, cheesecake from
Bailey’s Cheesecake all graciously donated to the Broad St. Bash cause.  The
food was totally sold out and enjoyed by many.

The Menus performed
cover hits from the last forty years with their front man changing clothes every
other song.  The crowd was upbeat and seemed to really enjoy the event, the
music and the company.  The scenes were shot from the second floor of the lovely
BeauVerre/Riordan Studios where a Bash party breaks out every other week when
the bands begin to rock.  The event was so crowded this was the only place we
could see what was going on.  It looks like the Broad St. Bash has arrived and
downtown is the place to be every other Wednesday this
summer.
