On September 12, 2009 Abilities First will hold their fourth annual motorcycle run & pig roast with all proceeds going to help Abilities First in their continued care for Middletown residents with disabilities. The event will be sponsored by Middletown ELKS Lodge #257 and Pot Belly Pigs Riders Group.
Founded in 1958, Abilities First is a non-profit organization that serves children and adults with a wide range of disabilities including CP, autism, Downs’s syndrome, learning disabilities, language & cognitive impairments. The organization has been a leader in providing services to children and adults with disabilities, developmental delays and other special needs in the region.
The pig roast will take place rain or shine and will open to the public at 5:00pm, with a $10 admission. If you wish to take part in the motorcycle ride there is a $25 per rider and or $30 per couple registration fee, which includes a lunch at the mid way point of the ride. Riders can save $5 by pre-registering at the Elks Lodge.
