Republicans dominated Butler County Judgeships last year and will also be in the majority no matter how the election turns out this year.

8 Republicans and 2 Democrats are running for for 7 judgeships in Butler County on the March 4 primary ballot in Butler County.
The entire common pleas court is running uncontested with incumbents seeking a return to the bench. Only the 12th District Court of Appeals is contested with 5 judges running for 2 seats. Juvenile and Probate judges are also incumbents running uncontested.
Here is a breakdown of the seats and the judges seeking those seats:
Common Pleas (3 to be elected)
Daniel Andrew Nastoff(R)*, Michael Sage(R)* and Charles Pater(R)* are all incumbents, all republicans and all running uncontested.
12th District Court of Appeals (2 to be elected)

Juvenile Court (1 to be elected)
Robert Kraft(R)* is running uncontested
Probate Court (1 to be elected)
