Middletown Economic Development Director Bill Murphy, confirmed today that the move-in date for Pac National will be mid-April. A ribbon cutting ceremony is being planned for the official April opening.
Pac National is moving from their old facility: 265 S West St Ste B in Lebanon to Middletown's Greentree Industrial Park on Cincinnati-Dayton Road.
The company is expected to create 155 new taxable jobs for the city of Middletown. Payroll initially will be around $4.7 Million. An additional 50 jobs are planned over the next three years. Those additional 50 jobs are expected to generate $1.5 million for a total annual payroll of $6.2 million.
Work includes repackaging Wholesales envelopes; manufactures envelopes Mailing seals, Mailing boxes, Mailer tube caps, Postage stamps, Mailer tubes, Mailers, Window envelopes, Specialty envelopes, Standard envelopes, Catalog or clasp envelopes, Message droppers, Mailing bags, Writing instruments, Correction media, Ink and lead refills, Folders and binders and indexes, Fastening supplies.
The City of Middletown (Butler County) will receive a $120,000 Roadwork Development Grant to complete public Roadwork improvements in support of PAC National, Incorporated’s (PAC) new facility in Middletown.

PAC is headquartered in the State of Washington and was founded as a broker of corrugated shipping containers. The company today has facilities in the United States, Mexico and Malaysia that provide packaging solutions for printed materials and temperature-sensitive materials to companies worldwide. The company proposes to construct a new 350,000-square-foot building and purchase machinery and equipment to expand production at a new facility in Middletown’s Greentree Industrial Park. The City of Middletown will construct a new 200 lineal foot turn lane on northbound Cincinnati-Dayton Road to provide an improved entrance to the Park. The City will also reconstruct a cul-de-sac on Emerald Way to provide access to an additional 15 undeveloped acres in the Park. The roadwork to be completed includes: engineering, demolition, excavation, grading, base, pavement, and related construction. Ohio is in competition with Kentucky for this $15 million project, which is expected to create 50 positions and retain 157 jobs within the first three years of the project’s initial operations.
