Today is the opening of Ohio’s fifth field office for Obama for America in Middletown. An opening ceremony will be held today at 6:30 p.m. at 1028 Central Ave. Greg Schultz, who is the director of Ohio’s Organizing for America, will be a guest speaker.
The office will mostly be used for phone banks and launch points for canvassing, as well as a space for meetings and polling data organization. By Feb. 11 the office plans to have two phone banks up and running. Organizers say that anyone who supports a blue Ohio is welcome to help.
