Lenny Robinson & Marty Kohler reported that there is a new storm sewer tax that is going to be enacted by the City regarding and new EPA Unfunded Mandate issued.  This has to be enacted quickly and can be adopted by the City Council without a vote.  The formula is as follows:

                        Total Square Footage of both Rooftop and Paved Lots

                        Divided by 2,850 square feet equals the ERU.

                        Multiply ERU times $3.25 equals your new monthly tax.

Marty Kohler stated that there can be exemptions and credits for retention ponds and that these requests need to be made to David Durich, Water & Sewer District, 513-425-7960, or daved@ci.middletown.oh.us.
