| Midwest Service in Middletown Gets $40k |

The Ohio Department of Development has announced a “rapid outreach” grant to a Butler County business on Monday September 22, 2008. The Midwest Service in Middletown will be receiving $40,000 grant that they will purchase machinery and equipment with to help support the company’s expansion. Vail Rubber Works is based in St. Joseph, Michigan where Midwest is a division of.
The Midwest Service will be upgrading and renovating the existing building which is located at 605 Clark St. Michigan and Ohio are also in competition with each other.
From the state expectations for Midwest Service they expect to create 25 new full-time jobs and retain 19 existing full-time positions in Middletown as a result of the grant.
