The 6th Annual MidFirst Ohio Challenge hot air balloon festival is slated for July 18-20, 2008 at Smith Park in downtown Middletown. This event draws approximately 70,000 people to Middletown who come to watch the skydivers, hear the music, eat the food and watch those beautiful balloons.  They also tend to spend money, not only on the grounds of the event but in area restaurants, gas stations, retail stores, etc.

This is a great way to publicize your business and help make the event the best it can be.

Each balloon pilot and balloon official receives a "pilot pack" when they register - 50 total packs. It is customary to include coupons for discounts at area businesses in those packs.  (Pilots and crew often go out to eat after their flights.) Many businesses choose to provide items bearing their logo to include in the packs as useful gifts. Some even provide larger value items to be used as prizes for the pilot awards banquet.
