| Middletown's Summer Sound Begins With Blues And Bikes 2009 |

If you enjoy music and the outdoors then the City of Middletown has a lot to offer to you this summer. A concert series called the "Summer Sound" will be taking place at Smith Park and also Woodside Cemetery.
Summer Sound is a four concert event that will be free to attend; the event kicks off at Smith Park from 4:00 to 9:00 pm on June 20th 2009 with the Blues and Bikes Fest and ends Monday September 7th at Woodside Cemetery with a Labor Day Concert featuring the Middletown Symphony.
Blues and Bikes has featured renown blues artists from the region as
well as local artists like Scotty Brachter and Gregg Clark. This year's
blues concert will feature Michael Locke and The Repeat Offenders,
Cheryl Renee and Them Bones, BJ Stahl, The Sonny Moorman Group and
Scotty Brachter.
