| Middletown's Summer Series Race Begins Today At smith Park |

The 24th annual Summer Series Race begins at Smith Park today and will be held one Wednesday each month through September 30th. The race is 2.5 miles and will be run on the bike path that surrounds the park. Registration is at 6:00 pm day of race with the race starting at 6:30 pm.
The event is organized by the Middletown, Ohio Running Club, Great Miami Valley YMCA and Middletown Street Striders The race is open to all age groups with awards for 1st place overall and 1st place in an age group.
There will also be a Kids Kilometer Run (.62 miles) there will be no entry fee for the kid’s race and ribbons will be giving out to all finishers.
