The Finance report is presented to the Middletown School Board for month ending March 31, 2008 by Eric Stotzing.
Expenses are in line with the budget at this point in the year with approximately 71 percent of the budget spent and ¾ of the school year passed. Salary expenditures were slightly lower than budgeted due to the staff cuts the first half of the year. Capital expenses were slightly higher due to the passage of house bill 264 which required new energy conservation measures.
Donations for the Special Olympics which will be May 16 were mentioned and are greatly appreciated by the district.
