The City of Middletown, Department of Community Revitalization is partnering with People Working Cooperatively (PWC) to recruit volunteers to help provide services to the elderly, low-income and/or disabled residents of Middletown. PWC is a non-profit group solely devoted to helping very low income elderly, disabled and other at-risk homeowners.
Each year PWC hosts a "Prepare Affair." This year's event is scheduled for Saturday, November 15 at over 1,000 homes in the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area with several homes being located in Middletown.
Approximately 3,000 volunteers from all walks of life will clean gutters, rake leaves and help repair storm damage for pre-qualified PWC clients. Prepare Affair is one of the region's largest single-day volunteer events!
PWC and the City of Middletown are seeking all types of volunteers especially volunteers to help clean gutters. Gutter cleaners must have their own truck and ladders. To volunteer, please call Lara Radkey or Angela Lacour at 513-351-7921 or register online at www.pwchomerepairs.org.
