Middletown Division of Fire
This week we received some interesting and what is believed to be good news concerning the City of Middletown Firefighter Safer Grant application. We received a phone call from the federal review board regarding some clarification on our application. The caller was clear to state multiple times that the phone call was not announcing award or denial of the grant…they simply wanted more information and to be sure they understood our request. That said, as Chief participated in the phone call, he could not help but feel the conversation went well. It was positive and exciting…now the waiting continues.

Middletown Police Division
On 3/22/12 at 1100 hours Middletown Special Operations Unit conducted a Search Warrant at 317 South Main St, the residence of Alpha Mae Pelfrey. During the search, officers recovered two handguns: a .22 Caliber and a .32 Caliber, a digital scale, 8.5 grams of Cocaine and 5.43 grams of Methamphetamine. Alpha Mae Pelfrey was placed under arrest and charged with a Third Degree Felony Drug Abuse Methamphetamine, Fourth Degree Felony Drug Abuse Cocaine, and Second Degree Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
