When the Middletown Planning Commission has it’s meeting on Wednesday, December 10th they will be considering a use adjustment request for a part of the Hilltop Medical Building on the former Middletown Regional Hospital’s McKnight Campus.
The owner of the Atrium Medical Center building would like to convert the former child care center which is on the lower level, into office space to be subleased. There will not be any additions or substantial exterior changes being projected. Right now the upper level is being used by a cardiology group.
Another request that is being proposed is a request by Porter Advertising LLC of Richmond, Indiana. This would permit a change in location for a pair of billboard advertising signs along Ohio 122.
The company has owned a small triangle lot since 1984. It contained two wedge-shaped billboard structures and held four billboards each. When Ohio 122 was improved the structure closest to the roadway was removed and another one was built farther away.
There will also be a request to expand the Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Building. This will be to house an MRI machine and other equipment that goes with that. The new addition would be built on the southeast corner of the building.
