As of Wednesday, April 20, 2011 the high waters of the river flooded the sewer interceptor project (sink hole #1) on South Main. Crews have removed the equipment and materials until the water recedes. We will not know the impact, if any, until then. SK has worked to button up the project and cover pipe already installed to prevent washout.
Below is a picture taken of the vicinity of sink hole #1 on the morning of 4-20-11.
Below is a photo of sink hole #2 which occurred on Friday, 4/22. We are working to have SK construction fix this issue since they are on site for sink hole #1.
