Jim Wainscott and I met this week.   

I requested this meeting so that I could share information on Agenda 2008 and the financial status of the city.  It was a productive meeting, during which we discussed the many positive things happening in Middletown, the challenges we face as a community and the priority areas in which the Mayor, Council and staff are working. 

I also wanted the opportunity to hear from him of the challenges and opportunities our largest employer faces.   I anticipate having similar meetings with other business and community leaders and organizations.
