Happenings for October 7th.  

 

Besides our newly renovated lobby/gallery as a kickstart, we will have the Area Art Show in our Exhibit Hall. This exhibit is a juried and judged competition and showcases art from a 50-mile radius of Middletown. The MAC will be open 5-7p.m. with light refreshments.There are monetary awards and ribbons given in each category that we receive ample pieces in order to judge it. There is also a Best of Show and a Presidential Award. This show is awesome each and every year!   

 

In our newly renovated lobby/gallery we will be showcasing the work of the 2010 Presidential Award winner, Joyce P. Young.

 

We will also have a FREE mini workshop that evening for all ages - 'Make! Paper Collage' that is being sponsored by ArtsWave of Cincinnati & Contemporary Arts Center of Cincinnati. It will be a community paper collage so everyone will have an opportunity to participate with the creation.

Pottery Sale in Paint Studio -  

noon - 4p.m.-  

(MAC students sell their wares)

 

FREE mini workshop for all ages - 11a.m.-noon Create a Peruvian themed work of art using Gelatin Paint - sponsored by ArtsWave of Cincinnati and Contemporary Arts Center of Cincinnati.
