MIDDIES TO PACK THE HOUSE PINK ON DECEMBER 13
The Middletown High School girls basketball team will not only play a game against Sycamore High School but attempt to Pack the House Pink to raise awareness and raise money for Breast Cancer research. The designated Pink Night at MHS is Saturday, December 13. Game time is 7:30 pm in the Paul Walker Gym.
Both teams will wear pink uniforms (one with white jerseys, the other with pink jerseys).
Organizers are selling pink t-shirts in the MHS Spirit Shop and hope everyone who comes to the game will wear their pink shirt.
Middie Girls Basketball Coach Scott Dalton said, “Our student athletes wanted to use their public position to help make all women aware of breast cancer and the need for early screening. We constantly encourage our students to be involved in community events and issues. This time, instead of helping another organization, our girls are organizing the event and asking others to help them.”
