With Middfest International 2004, Chile, the land of contrast, behind them, Middfest will share its own awards with those who have and continue to give the event the foundation and strength to move forward into 2005. MIRA recognizes those who contribute over many years, some nearly everyday, throughout each planning year. The MIRA awards dinner has been set for November 5 at Brown's Run Country Club.
Slides, video and photos will be available for perusing as well as, offers of a cash bar, hors d'oeuvres and full Chilean flavored dinner. Cost for the dinner is $17.50 per person.
Another celebration will take place later in November when Middletown's, Middfest International is honored by the Greater Cincinnati International Hall of Fame at an awards ceremony on November 15.
As a project of the Regional Leadership Forum the categories included are educational programs; cultural arts; nonprofits; foreign-owned companies; local companies and individual global citizens. The awards will be demonstrated by storyboards carrying the message of international cultural kinship within and surrounding our Queen City. Exhibits will tour a 16 county area.
Then mark your calendars now for an evening of fundraising fun on November 16. The Blue Goose Restaurant in Middletown will be the location for the Middfest International Guest Bartender event.
