Memory Bricks

Many community members and alumni have sentimental attachments and memories of their days at Wilson Elementary and McKinley Elementary Schools. The district will be giving these people the opportunity to keep a part of the building.

Once the demolition of the facilities begins, “Memory Bricks” will be available to the public.   Bricks from the original facility will be saved and moved to a separate, gated area adjacent to the demolition site.  Anyone who would like to keep a brick will be able to come to this location from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on October 25 - 29.  A sign will be posted at the entrance directing you where to go to receive your brick. 

Bricks will only be available for pick up during these scheduled times.
