Atrium Medical Center has now sold the assisted living facility that they owned. It was located across from its former location on McGee Avenue. The McKnight Terrace Senior Living Community was bought by Rittenhouse Senior Living which is located in King of Prussia, Pa.
The officials of Atrium announced that the new name of the McKnight Terrace had been changed to Rittenhouse Senior Living of Middletown. The assisted living facility has been in the process of trying to be sold for years.
The assisted living facility did not have any financial issues. It was being sold to help operate the new medical campus more efficiently.
Current residents of the McKnight Terrace will still receive the same quality and care that they got from the hospital. The Rittenhouse Senior Living is privately held, national company. They also have three other assisted living facilities in Indianapolis, Ind., Hoover, Ala., and Reading, Pa.
