On Tuesday, September 28th,Marilyn Patrick, a local author, will be visiting the Miller Ridge elementary School second grade classrooms to read and talk about her book, Cheeyo and Mossy, a Botswana Tale.
Her schedule will be:
1:00-1:30- Ms. McGee’s class, Room 124
1:30-2:00- Mrs. Amburgey’s class, Room 132
2:0-2:30- Mrs. Hawkinson’s class, Room 130
She will be visiting classes during Self-Selected Reading block. She asked for 20 minutes, but said she may go over, so she may finish before her scheduled time. I wanted to make sure she had enough time to cover what she wanted and not feel rushed.
