As the Summer season approaches, it's time to start thinking about plans for summer fun, and King's Island has become a seasonal tradition for area residents.

Kings Island in Mason will be turning 40 this year, and to celebrate the amusement park will be holding a contest on Twitter. This "Countdown to 40" contest will begin on March 20 on the park's Twitter account, which is Twitter.com/KingsIslandPR, and will consist of trivia questions about the park's history.

Admission tickets and merchandise are among the things that will be given away each day through April 28. The grand prize will be a VIP tour for four people.

To be a participant you must 'follow' Kings Island on Twitter, where the trivia or retweet request will be posted, and participants must include #KingsIsland40 in their responses.
