SAM ASHWORTH TO HOLD JAZZ AT THE JUNCTION SYMPHONY FUND RAISER
Sam Ashworth, candidate for Middletown Symphony’s Conductor Auction, will hold a fund-raising dinner on Wednesday, October 15, at BBQ Junction, 4705 Roosevelt Blvd.
As one of the three people competing to raise the most money to benefit the Middletown Symphony Orchestra and the privilege of leading the orchestra at their pops concert in November, Ashworth will hold a dinner and evening of jazz. The evening will also include a raffle by another guest conductor candidate, 11 year old Emma Bruggeman, who will raffle a stained glass wall hanging by Middletown’s BeauVerre/Riordan Studio.
Dinner will be at 6 pm, (choice of chicken, ribs, fish or vegetarian)with live Dixieland Jazz at 7 pm. Tickets are $25 per person. Reservations (or donations) can be made by sending a check to Middletown Symphony Orchestra, c/o Ann Mort, 4935 Riverview Avenue, Middletown, OH 45042.
