Master Impressionist Painter Kevin Macpherson to Exhibit in Middletown, Ohio.
In May of 2009, Master Impressionist Painter Kevin Macpherson will exhibit his work "Reflections on a Pond" at the Middletown Arts Center located at 130 North Verity Parkway in Middletown, Ohio. Mr. Macpherson will attend the opening reception, give a lecture and a demonstration.
Mr. Macpherson is a highly sought after artist and has exhibit in many museums. He has won Best of Show at the Salon International in 2002 (one of the most prestigious competitions in the world), Oil Painters of America (National) Donors Award, and the California Art Club 96th Gold Medal Juried Exhibition Award of Excellence. The "Reflections on a Pond" exhibit took five years to complete and chronicles the life of a pond and the artist's attempt to capture the changes resulting in 365 paintings (one for each day of the year). The exhibit highlights 198 of these paintings which encompass all four seasons.
Mr. Macpherson is an internationally known artist, travelling to Europe, China and Iceland to teach and lecture. He has many collectors throughout the region and has worked locally with the Cincinnati Art Club. The Middletown Arts Center expects high attendance for this exhibit and lecture from the Tri-State Region and beyond.
