Judy Gilleland - City Manager
An update from Dave Duritsch on the project:
The overall project remains on schedule for completion on June 30, 2012. The contractor should remobilize in April to continue the asphalt work. The work remaining on the SR 122 portion of the project includes surface course of asphalt, thermoplastic pavement markings, finish grading and seeding. The concrete walls and parapets are to be painted. There will be some modifications to the southwest corner of the Union Rd/SR 122 intersection to address the exposed traffic signal base. The curb will be relocated and a stone veneer added to the base to ultimately match the veneer chosen for the SR 122 wall.
To date, we have 106 change orders/extra work (not all include the City portion of costs) totaling $424,076.07. Currently, the City has $101,726.01 in escrow, leaving $322,350.06 in costs to be billed to the City after project completion. We have the appropriate paperwork to back this up. While we do have $350,000 in the 2012 budget for this cost, ODOT does not anticipate billing us until 2013, so we can carry over the funds should this be the case.
