Middletown High School’s Lady Middies of Excellence and the Middletown’s Young Phenomenal Women organization hope that young ladies from all area high schools will visit their Cinderella’s closet to purchase dresses for ten dollars each, and shoes, handbags and accessories for five dollars.
According to Lady Middies of Excellence Advisor Susan Willoughby-Crawford, the event takes place on Saturday, Oct. 2 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Faith United Church located at 9 Baltimore Street in Middletown.
“We collect these items to help make events like homecoming and prom affordable,” said Willoughby-Crawford. We donate proceeds to a charitable organization, so the giving goes on and on,” she added.
Donations for Cinderella’s Closet must be delivered to Middletown High School, main office by Friday, Oct. 1, 2:00 P.M.
