After the fire was put out Monday, firefighters began searching for clues on what may have caused the fire Monday morning, which left 100 people jobless. The preliminary cost damage is $1 million.
Famous Dave‘s was scheduled to open December 9th with training starting this week. Contractors told the fire department that a homeless man was angry that he was not hired and that he may have had something to do with the fires. However, he is not considered a suspect.
Owner Dan Egan is planning to rebuild in Middletown.
