Miami University Middletown will host a free "Financial Aid Blitz" program for potential and current students from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 23 in the Campus and Community Center.
Sessions on writing effective scholarship essays and completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) are scheduled for the students and parents attending.
"Three out of four full-time students at Miami Middletown are currently receiving financial aid of some kind," said MUM Director of Admission and Financial Aid Stacey Adams. "It is an area that all current and potential students should investigate, whether they plan on attending Miami University or another institution. This workshop is a quick and easy way to get started." Miami Middletown has scholarships based on academic merit, financial need, ethnicity, major and many other criteria.
Doors will open at 9:30 a.m. For more information or to RSVP, call (513) 727-3299 or email at Mumfinaid@muohio.edu. Please RSVP by January 21. Miami University Middletown is located at 4200 E. University Blvd.
