Employee of the Month - Troy Anderton
Troy Anderton has been employed by the City since May 4, 1995 in the Finance Department, Division of Information Systems. In his role as a Senior Programmer/Analyst, Troy analyzes requests for service from all City departments and then designs the hardware/software/network applications that best meet the needs of the work-group. Troy is also responsible for the security of the City’s servers, desktop, and mobile PCs, and the City’s data network. Recently, Troy was instrumental in designing and implementing a security system that meets the standards set by the payment card industry. Without this compliance, the City would be unable to accept online credit card payments. Credit card transactions are a major time-saver for City staff and provide a high level of convenience for customers of the City. Through his diligence Troy has earned the respect of his peers and the customers that he serves. For this he has been chosen as the City of Middletown’s current Employee of the Month.
