Cincinnati State currently has “Get There” informational sessions scheduled on the first and third Wednesday of the month (excluding July 4th) and are expanding to the third Saturday in June, July and August to enable more potential students to take advantage of the sessions. The Wednesday sessions are in Council Chambers (LL) at 9:30 am and 6:30 pm, with testing in the Employee Lounge on the third floor. The Saturday sessions will be 9:00 am – 1:00 pm, also in Council Chambers. Financial Aid sessions will also be added to the Saturday schedule.

It accurately places you into reading, writing, and math classes that are best suited for your abilities. The placement test is there to help ensure your success; it is not timed and it is not a pass/fail test. There is also a short keyboarding test. The tests are held the first and third Wednesdays of the month at 10:30 am on the third floor of the City Building in the Employee Lounge. Testing is also available each Saturday, June – August, beginning June 2nd at 9:00 am – 1:00pm.
