On Sunday November 23rd Middletown will be holding Affair on the square. It will run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Governor’s Square Park in Middletown, Ohio. It will start with brunch at the Manchester Inn and end with the tree lighting by Middletown Mayor Larry Mulligan Jr.
In between when everything is going on there will be different arts groups in the community being showcased. People may also notice the Middletown Christmas tree is a little smaller than usual at only 12 feet tall. The officials have planted this tree here to let it become the city’s permanent Christmas tree.
Got Art Walk will also be presented at the event, the Got Art Walk places artwork and displays in business windows along Central Avenue. The other performers that will be on hand are William “Kip” Moore and Friends, the Middletown Performing Arts Academy and Middletown Lyric Theatre.
The parade for this year has been moved to November 28th which is the opening night for Light Up Middletown.
