Christmas at the Krohn Conservatory in Cincinnati Ohio
by Rose Morgan
It is surely worth the wait of perhaps 15 minutes and the price of admission to see the Krohn Conservatory decked out in all the best of Christmas finery.
The live manger scene with sheep, a cow and a donkey caught your eye before the car was parked.
Inside flowers were everywhere in and around the wonderful train displayed on slopes and trestles. The trains were in constant motion to the delight of young and old visiting the lovely greenhouses in Eden Park. The entrance lobby tree was decorated with many hand made Moravian ornaments.
Even the fish were putting on a show by being active. The gift shop did a thriving business for those who wanted a last minute gift or some trinket as a memory of their visit.
