The bridge will have the existing deteriorated steel beams and concrete deck replaced with a cast in place concrete flat topped three sided culvert. The new bridge will be wide enough to accommodate the City of Monroe's planned future road widening project. The project was designed by Warren County with the structural portion being a design build. DDK Construction was awarded the project.
The detour will utilize Kyles Station Road, Cincinnati-Dayton Road, Lebanon Street, Gallaher Road, and Mason Road.
