A Monroe resident discovered an Emerald Ash Borer infestation on his property last week, and another was found in the Huber Heights area. As a result of these discoveries, Butler and Montgomery counties are now under a lumber quarantine. Any transport of firewood or any other type of lumber across county lines may result in fines of up to $4,000 for the violator.
