The Butler county fair is going on this week. There has been great weather for the fair this week now that the rain has passed through and the humidity has dropped. During the morning to mid day you tend to see many kids taking care of their animals and getting them ready for show.

Many kids put a lot of work into getting ready for the Butler county fair. Between feeding and cleaning their animals every day to walking them and training them for the fair. It takes a lot of time away from other activities that the kids are involved in. During the day you will see more of the animal judging and prepping the animals for show. There is not only, animals but you can go see the many other 4-H projects like cooking, sewing, photography, etc.

The 4-H kids are not the only people that go to the fair. There are people of all kinds that go for numerous activities. The Butler county fair goers always want to go to the pork chop booth where they sell their well known pork burgers. There are many other booths to get the always good food that the fair provides.
