The east end of Middletown will become a community of the medical center, surrounding office complexes, green space with walking trails, bike trails, a water feature, and both high end and medium income housing options.

Premier Health Partners' Medical Campus and Great Midwest Development's Renaissance are setting up a 'high quality tone' for the area.

To accomplish this task, a high quality name and impression needs to be created for the area. The plan is more similar to Polaris in Columbus than Union Center in West Chester.

"Rather than building boxes like they did in West Chester, we need office parks, restaurants, and commercial services," said Shanwda Combs from Butler County Economic Development.

Branding is the image we create for the area." said John Beard, executive vice President  of Focus/FGW, the company hired to create such an image.

Key word images include: Medical, High Tech, Unique, Hotel, Conference, Education, Central location
