The City of Monroe has granted a 7 year (100%) Community Reinvestment Area (CRA) real property tax abatement to Dealer Specialties for a proposed relocation project to Monroe.  Dealer Specialties is a company that provides hi-tech computer support and software services to the Trader Publishing Co. (Auto Trader magazines) and car dealerships throughout the country.

Dealer Specialties is proposing to construct a 20,166 sq. ft. office building in the City of Monroe and move their existing 35 full-time employees from their current Middletown location.  The company has also agreed to create 40 new full-time jobs as a result of the expansion.  The projected annual payroll when fully staffed would be approximately $3,680,000.  The total real and personal property project investment in the community is $1,900,000.

Dealer Specialties’ hi-tech white-collar positions are among the most sought after types of jobs by a community.  Monroe is excited about the growth and expansion possibilities for the company and we look forward to welcoming them to the Monroe Business community.
