After the recent MidFirst Ohio Challenge hot air balloon festival the pilots asked each of the landowners to complete an entry card which then was returned to the organizers of the festival. This was done since during the festival many of the landowners allowed balloon pilots to land or launch their balloons from their property.

The festival chairwoman Maria Langendorf drew four of the cards out of over 100 and the winners will receive a $50 Visa gift card. The winners include Eddie and Teresa Crowe, Andy and Sheri Hollister, Sandy Hughes, and Tim Murphy.

As a result of one of the events that went on is another $75 will be donated to a camp for autistic children. This event was the “fluff and puff” cold air inflation jump for kids. With the kids being involved the parents were more willing to donate money.

The MidFirst Ohio challenge has been a very successful and plans on holding next year.
