The 20th annual Lebanon Christmas Carriage and
Horse Parade will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2008. The parade goes
through Lebanon, Ohio and has more than 70 horse-drawn carriages.
It features two horse-drawn carriage parades. They are at 1 and 7 p.m.
This festival is organized by the Lebanon Chamber of
Commerce. They do it to celebrate the holiday season and bring attention to the
merchants of Lebanon’s
historic downtown. The carriage entrants are from WarrenCounty
and several outlying states to participate in the parade.
Delbert cook will be in the parade this year for the 17th
time. When he first started some people thought that his miniature horses would
not be able to keep up with the others.
There will be entertainment from the Lebanon Theatre
Company, strolling carolers, a bell choir and the Firecracker Jump Rope Team. A
train ride will take attendees to the North Pole with the LM&M railroad.

Sounds like a nice family event although I would hate to clean up after it.
