I can recall asking for a database of Section 8 properties from CONSOC staff back in 2007 and again in 2008. They were forthcoming with said information which in turn was passed along to Sgt. Cunningham, Marty Kohler, Judy Gilleland and Les Landen. In addition, CONSOC was always compliant with requests from Sgt. Cunningham and others to meet to discuss crime issues, methods to improve communication between Middletown Police/CONSOC/landlords, etc. After so many years of misinformation and bad mouthing, I thought it was time to set the record straight. I also know of two employees who officed in the lower level of City Hall who visited Judy Gilleland a number of times to bad mouth CONSOC. There you are, folks!

Well, how sad it is that BMHA has had to spend so much time straightening out records passed along to them by the City of Middletown. I recall current high level city staff boasting several years ago that Middletown was to have one of the very best Section 8 programs in the country. I can also remember one bureaucrat stating, "give me the power and I'll make things happen." What an ongoing line of baloney from this well-compensated senior city official.

City Manager Doug
Adkins said in an email response that the city had not received any complaints
from HUD or BMHA regarding the transfer. “We are
unaware of any issues,” he said in the email.
